IF WE HAVE TO EVACUATE WE HOPE TO GO TO NEW MEXICO.THERE ARE SOME HERE WHO ARE CONCERNED THAT THE AUTHORITIES WON'T LET US GO WEST,BUT I DON'T THINK THAT GOING NORTH ONLY WILL DO US MUCH GOOD.I'M SURE THEY WILL DIRECT US PROPERLY.

Charlene, I do hope you are doing OK and survived Katrina without losing your home and I hope all of your family and friends are OK. You left a comment on my journal a couple of years ago. I have been very slack in writing for the last couple of years. I let other things get in the way which I did not want to do but fell into my old ways of spending all my time working and putting off the important things that I intended to do. I went on my web site a few days ago and read some of the comments people had left and I realized what I was doing and not doing. It did me a world of good and made me stop and realize it is time (actually past time) for me to stop and listen to God. I am grateful for the comments since it made me go ahead and Retire and start writing again. I wanted to thank you for what you had written and how it helped me to open my eyes so I went into your website and that is when I saw what you had posted last about Katrina. My heart went out to you and I felt bad that I never realized that this was happening to you. Of course I remember it well and was praying for all the people who were going through this but I never realized that you were one of those people until I saw your post 2 years later.
If you are doing the same thing I was and just not taking time to write I do hope you will get back to your journal. Charlene I was killing myself trying to get things caught up so I could do the things I felt God wanted me to do. The more I did the farther I got from my goal. My blood pressure was up most of the time, I cried a lot and even had a heart attack in Sept 2006. I was not accomplishing anything and was fighting a losing battle. Still following my old Co-dependent ways. Time is running out for all of us in one way or another so it is important to do what we should while we can.

I will continue to pray everything is OK for you.
